Usually, whenever I travel to a place where some calamity has occurred, I do so with relief. Whether, it was during the floods in Kashmir or the earthquake in Nepal (I find it disrespectful to make pictures, without bringing any value to the people effected). The material I carry (on behalf of what will someday be Jaswin Kochar Foundation) my friends are kind enough to send relief with me, which I take along, which is then distributed amongst individuals and different ngos, working on the ground.
But for this particular, ‘disaster’ I refused. This is Delhi, this is accessible, people need to go out and engage, themselves. From my end, we give out relief, on behalf of the one’s who have departed, my brother and his friend, who just passed away.
